Before you begin restoration procedures
– Remember that flood hazards do not subside immediately after
the water is withdrawn.
– Check with the authorities that the area where your home or
workplace is located is now safe and then return to it, especially if
an evacuation has taken place.
– Turn off the power supply, even if your
area has a power cut.
– Turn off the water supply, in case of possible damage to the water supply network.
To examine a flooded building
– Wear closed shoes to avoid injury from objects
or uneven ground hiding water.

There are points in the road network where the road crosses streams and
there is no bridge.
To facilitate local vehicular traffic, a temporary
construction solution
with concrete paving is applied to facilitate local traffic. This structure is called an Irish crossing.
Accidents and loss of life when crossing Irish crossings are common

When you meet an Irish crossing<\/strong><\/p>

– Take due care.
– Do not cross an Irish crossing on foot or in a vehicle when it is inundated by
water. There is a danger to your life!
– Do not overestimate the capabilities of your vehicle.<\/p>


It is better to go a few extra kilometres by choosing another route,
